Historians, ghost hunters and others intrigued by this curious tale, flock to the Historic Pickens County Courthouse every year for a glimpse of the legendary face in the window. With well over 1,500 visitors a year from all over the country, hopes are to eventually turn the building into a full-time museum.
The courthouse is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Central Standard Time) for tours (and other times upon request). Admission is free though donations are appreciated.
